Importer of Record Services
At BGC Global Trade, our Importer of Record services support private label brands and manufacturers that require a compliant USA import structure while maintaining confidentiality over their suppliers and sourcing arrangements. For approved transactions, we act as Importer of Record, assuming responsibility for customs entry and regulatory compliance associated with importing goods into the United States.
All commercial transactions, pricing, and negotiations with suppliers are conducted directly by the client. BGC Global Trade does not participate in supplier negotiations, purchasing decisions, or commercial risk related to the cargo. Our role is limited to providing a compliant import framework that allows goods to enter the USA market under our import authority.
This service is commonly used by businesses that prefer not to disclose supplier relationships publicly or that do not wish to establish their own importer presence in the United States.
Import Process Coordination
We act as the primary point of contact for logistics and import communications, coordinating documentation flow, shipment updates, and handoffs between freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other service providers throughout the import process.
Customs & Broker Communication
We coordinate closely with licensed USA customs brokers to support timely customs entry, document submission, and issue resolution. This ensures the import process remains organized, compliant, and responsive without assuming Importer of Record responsibility.
Scope & Risk Boundaries
All supplier negotiations, commercial terms, and cargo ownership remain with the client. BGC Global Trade does not purchase goods, negotiate with suppliers, or assume commercial or cargo risk when acting as Notify Party.
Notify Party Import Services
Our Notify Party import services support commercial imports where the client or another designated entity remains the Importer of Record, while BGC Global Trade serves as the official Notify Party on shipping and customs documentation. This structure provides experienced import process coordination without transferring Importer of Record responsibility.

Customs Clearance & Regulatory Filing Services
At BGC Global Trade, we provide comprehensive customs clearance and regulatory filing services to support commercial imports into the United States. Our services are designed to ensure shipments meet all USA customs and partner government agency requirements prior to arrival and release.
We coordinate customs entry and regulatory filings through licensed customs brokers and approved service providers. This includes oversight of entry documentation, data accuracy, and required filings to support compliant import processing and minimize delays at port of entry.
Our regulatory support includes coordination of Importer Security Filing (ISF), FDA prior notice, and other agency-specific requirements depending on product type and import profile. By managing documentation flow and regulatory alignment in advance, we help ensure shipments are properly prepared before arrival in the United States.
